Admission Eligibility Criteria
1. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT)
- A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from CBSE/State boards or any other equivalent examination recognized by Manipur University, with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Zoology & Botany, and English, and must have passed in each of these subjects.
- Age Limit: The candidate should have completed 17 years at the time of admission or on or before 31st December of the admission year.

Lateral Entry – B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT)
- Admission to the second year is available for 10+2 science students with a 2-year Diploma in MLT.
- Candidates who have passed a 2-year Diploma in MLT from any AICTE-recognized institution after their 10+2 science, with at least 50% aggregate marks, are eligible for second-year (lateral entry) admission, subject to seat availability.
2. B.Sc. Medical Radio Imaging Technology (B.Sc. MRIT)
- A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from CBSE/State boards or any other equivalent examination recognized by Manipur University, with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Zoology & Botany, and English, and must have passed in each of these subjects.
- Age Limit:The candidate should have completed 17 years and should not be more than 25 years on or before 31st December of the admission year.
- Lateral Entry – B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT)
- Admission to the second year is available for 10+2 science students with a 2-year Diploma in MRIT.
- Candidates who have passed a 2-year Diploma in MRIT from any AICTE-recognized institution after their 10+2 science, with at least 50% aggregate marks, are eligible for second-year (lateral entry) admission, subject to seat availability.
3. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
- Students who have passed the 10+2 examination in the science stream or an equivalent examination recognized by Manipur University are eligible to apply.
4. Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology (DOPT)
- Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification required is:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th standard), or
- Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) from a recognized board/university with at least 45% marks.
- Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) with 6 months internship.
5. Diploma in Radio Imaging Technology (DRIT)
- Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the admission year.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification required is:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th standard), or
- Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) from a recognized board/university with at least 45% marks.
- Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) with 6 months internship
6. Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Courses
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Eligibility: 10+2 in Science (PCB/PCM) 50% from a recognized board. and must have passed in each of these subjects.
- Duration: 4 years.
- Age: 17 years and above.
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
- Eligibility: 10+2 in Science (PCB/PCM) 50% from a recognized board and must have passed in each of these subjects.
- Duration: 2 years.
- Age: 17 years and above.
