The state of Manipur is experiencing a high demand for healthcare professionals. This is mainly due to increased levels of literacy, health awareness and economic development. Some of the despairing facts may be, increase cases of chronic and communicable diseases, presence of deadly strains, and other effects of environmental and developmental changes. There is also an increase in per capita spending on health care. To cope with the demands and as well as to cater to the need of the patients, the institute aims at training and developing highly qualified and right minded professionals health care workers and technicians in the health sector.
The institute aims at developing ethically sound and virtuous professional who would contribute to providing the much needed care, support and guidance. The successful candidates from the institute will also get the opportunity of job placement
It is also a social responsibility of the institute to curve the problem of unemployment in the state. Hence, promoting human resource development. The laboratory is equipped with own equipments like CT scan, X-Ray, ECG, USG, Laboratory procedures in variety of area including Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology and Immuno-hematology etc. and Physiotherapy equipments. The students are train with hands on experience. The campus is situated in easily accessible and well connected roads.
Pharmacy is the science and practice of discovering, producing, preparing, dispensing, reviewing and monitoring medications, aiming to ensure the safe, effective, and affordable use of medicines. It is a miscellaneous science as it links health sciences with pharmaceutical sciences and natural sciences.
Qualifying in Pharmacy Education can lead to variety of job roles which offer professional progression. Pharmacy industry has gained a significant role in the industrial sector. It is necessary that you have to choose a good Pharmacy College for getting all the Theoretical & Practical knowledge to become a really qualified Pharmacist.
